As you may be aware, the Bonita Fairways Golf Course has been for sale and in flux for some time. I wanted to share with you that the Bonita Fairways Association was granted first right of refusal to purchase the Bonita Fairways Golf Course. This exciting turn of events will take place as soon as April 1, 2020. Plans are underway to hire a golf management company to spruce things up and make the course a pleasure to play. This is very good news for those of you who have clients who are waiting to make a buying decision based on this outcome.
A few points that I wanted to share with you to pass along to your clients. First, the golf course will remain public which is good for those who have clients who do not play golf or do not want a community that requires a golf membership. The association appointed a team to review financials and discovered that the course is self-sustaining- that’s even more good news!!
